Ali Farag and Nour El-Tayeb accomplish a new achievement by winning the Manchester Squash Championship

The Egyptian squash duo, the couple, Ali Farag, the player of Wadi Degla and ranked fourth in the world for men’s squash, and Nour El-Tayeb, the player of Heliopolis, ranked sixth in the world for women’s squash, achieved their crowning in the Manchester Open Squash Championship, which was hosted by the city of Manchester from May 17 to May 21.

Ali Farag won the final match against his compatriot Karim Abdel-Gawad, 3-1, in a match that lasted 57 minutes, and the results of the games were: 10-12, 13-11, 11-2, 11-5

In the final, Nour El-Tayeb defeated the Belgian Nele Gilis, 3-1, in a match that lasted 63 minutes. The results of the matches were: 11-9, 11-7, 5-11, 11-9.

Ali Farag and Nour El-Tayeb are considered the first couple to win the Manchester Squash Championship in one edition, and the Egyptian duo had earlier crowned the US Open Squash Championship as the first couple to win the title as well.
